1The programme

The run.events Academy trains and certifies people who configure events on run.events. The programme has two levels: run.events Certified, taught over five training days, and run.events Expert, taught over two further days for participants who hold the Certified level. Training is delivered live by run.events instructors.

2Certification

Certification is awarded in live training, held by run.events instructors in the run.events training centre or at larger partners. There is no formal test: the instructor decides whether a participant receives the certification.

Certification is earned by training and building. In your own training event you configure what each module teaches.

3How to read this handbook

Each training day has its own page. Every module on it follows the same order: learning objectives, concepts, a guided walkthrough, exercises, check questions and common mistakes.

The walkthrough shows real screens. The numbered markers on each screenshot match the numbered steps in the text. Select a screenshot to see it full size.

The language switch (EN, DE) below the contents opens the same place in the other language. Both languages show the English interface of run.events; interface labels are printed in bold, exactly as they appear on screen.
